The Graphic Designer will be a critical member of the Let's Be Clear team, responsible for creating designs for a wide range of apparel and product, as well as helping other team members translate design ideas into fully realized assets. We are looking for a Designer with a clean, edgy, interesting, and modern style, but most importantly, a focus on creating purposeful conversation-starters. Our designs are essential to advancing our mission, so our Designer needs to accurately reflect our values and goals as a company while creating designs that sell at a high market value to a wide audience.

ReSPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS:
Conceptualize and design Let’s Be Clear creative projects, such as brand identity, clothing and other consumer products, packaging, websites, digital ads, social media, marketing collateral, sales presentations.
Produce designs that appeal to different audiences while simultaneously developing a coherent brand.
Work with team members to define scope, objectives, and deliverables to ensure needs and expectations are met.
Maintain design consistency across channels.
Ability to attend internal and client meetings.
Ability to set, work on, and meet deadlines.
Take creative risks and have fun!
Dedicate 8-12 hours per week to Let’s Be Clear.
Bachelor’s or associate's degree in graphic design or related field (preferred). Relevant experience may be considered as a substitution.
A solid understanding of the graphic design process, including typography, market research, production procedures, printing and photography, and digital file preparation.
Driven, team player eager to take responsibility and lead a project through to completion.
Proficiency with standard design software including Adobe Creative Suite.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience working on sexual violence prevention (preferred).
Located in the Boston area (preferred).
Compensation will primarily come in the form of equity -- ie. partial ownership of the company. Please note that because we’re a startup with extremely limited capital, we cannot guarantee consistent compensation in the form of paychecks. As such, a role with Let’s Be Clear should be something you consider taking on in addition to another position (whether full or part time) that offers you financial stability.
